The details

When should we be there for the ceremony? +

The ceremony starts at sunset on March 19, 2027 — 6:56 PM CDT. Please arrive by 6:15 PM so everyone's seated and settled before the vows begin.

What should I wear? +

Sunset-beach formal. Think dressy but breathable — the ceremony is on sand, so leave the stilettos at home. Bring a layer for when the sea breeze picks up after dark.

Are kids welcome? +

Yes — let us know in your RSVP how many and their ages so we can plan food and seating.

When do I need to book my room and RSVP? +

Reserve your room by February 19, 2027 to get the group rate, and send your RSVP by February 1, 2027. The menu goes live February 1, 2027.

Do I have to stay overnight? +

Not at all. Tell us in the RSVP whether you're staying the night or coming as a day guest so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get there / where do I park? +

The closest airport is Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS), about 9 miles from the resort — roughly a 15–20 minute drive.

From the airport: head south on FL‑85 (Eglin Parkway), then turn east onto US‑98 / Miracle Strip Parkway and cross Brooks Bridge onto Okaloosa Island. The Holiday Inn Resort is right on Miracle Strip Pkwy SE, on the beach side.

Parking at the resort is free.
